Well done Palmerston North team for supporting Hawke's Bay flood survivors

Learner Stories
Our Organisation

Our team at the English Language Partners’ Palmy centre proudly joined the 'Hawkes Bay together in Black and White Day' initiative on Thursday, 6 April.

To express our solidarity with the people affected by the recent devastating flooding in the Hawkes Bay region, we wore black and white clothes, and also made donations towards the ongoing community recovery efforts.

Some of our learners also took part in Awatapu College’s market day and generously donated their earnings to support the cause. We want the people in the region to know that we haven't forgotten their struggles and we empathise with their journey to return to normalcy after the disaster.

Our learners donated over $300 with all funds donated to Hawke’s Bay Disaster Relief Fund. :)

Stay strong, Hawke's Bay! Kia kaha!

Our English Language Partners’ Palmerston North centre was delighted to show their support for ‘Hawke's Bay together in Black and White Day'.
