Palmerston North’s annual Festival of Cultures celebrates the city’s amazing, growing diversity.

Over the Festival week, 130 ethnicities gather  in Te Marae o Hine, The Square. World Fair Day happens right at the end, and on 27 February, cultural activities included ‘international tea and coffee tasting,’ dance and art workshops and a lantern festival. Many of our learners and staff showcased their own cultures through food, music and dance.

And our centre’s stall sold handmade goods made from recycled materials!
