Is there a cost?

Many of our programmes are free. There is a small cost for some programmes. Ask at your English Language Partners’ centre.

Our English for Migrants programme is for people who have already pre-paid Immigration New Zealand for English lessons before they arrived.

How can I find out more about English Language Partners' programmes?

Who will teach me?

Our volunteers are all trained ESOL home tutors. Teachers on our other programmes are all qualified ESOL teachers.

What will I learn?

You will learn the English you need to live independently in New Zealand. Our programmes help people with daily life, to find work and to communicate well in a Kiwi workplace. You can also learn more about Kiwi culture.

Where do lessons take place?

Most programmes take place in neighbourhood community classes. Our English for Migrants and ESOL Home Tutoring programmes are taught in learners’ homes. Some workplace programmes are taught in the workplace.
