English Language Partners New Zealand trains volunteers to teach English to adult migrants and refugees in New Zealand. We also employ ESOL teachers.

As a volunteer ESOL home tutor you can
- Learn about other cultures
- Meet people from other countries
- Develop new skills
- Meet other tutors and learners at social events
- Help people in your community
Training as a volunteer tutor
- 20 hours of free training
- Learn about cultural differences and teaching techniques
- Training is held in 23 towns and cities in New Zealand
- You are matched with a learner for at least six months
- A small charge for materials may apply

After you train
Support is available at your English Language Partners' centre.
