A verb is a doing word, right?  In English – yes, sometimes.
At other times verbs pop up in various disguises, much to the dismay of learners and the frustration of their tutors.  Is it possible to impose some order on the wayward behaviour of these essentials?  Dorothy is going to make a 15-minute attempt to do just that.
